Hiya! My name is Kelly, and my human is called Mr. Bice. I am a Havanese dog; my breed originated in Havana, Cuba. I’m 50 years old (that’s 9 in human years–that’s confusing, but I’ve gotten good at math since I’m in school all the time)!
When I lived at the pet store, the same human would always come to visit me. Then, one day, she decided she wanted to take care of me, and I got to come home with her! After some great years together, it became harder and harder for her to care for me. I met her son, Mr. Bice, and he became my human! Now, we’re BFFs. I love to go everywhere with him; my biggest fear is of being left behind. Well, maybe I’m more afraid of rain and thunder–so loud! On the topic of weather, I hate snow. It’s pretty, but it hurts my paws!
I love the dining hall cold cuts; my favorite foods are the turkey, roast beef, and chicken from the salad bar. I don’t like eating from a bowl, though. It always starts rocking–gives me the heebie jeebies! My favorite place to go is the student center. It’s great to roll on the carpet, sit on the couches, and hang out with my human friends. I love greeting them every day. Now that’s the life! I also have so much fun going on the garbage route with my friend Sid on Friday mornings. Some other humans I like to hang out with are Mr. and Mrs. Omaña, Mrs. O’Meara, Joe Viau, Mr. Simonelli, and Kayla!
